Keoni Allen formed Sierra Foothills Construction Company in 1986 as Nevada County’s first true design/build firm. Since that time, Sierra Foothills Construction Company has helped many local, national, and international clients realize their facilities needs Western Nevada County and the surrounding region.
Keoni and Sierra Foothills Construction Company have been vocal advocates of mentoring local subcontractors. Our expertise in construction administration, quality control and budget control systems has been instrumental in maintaining our clients budget, while engaging our excellent local subcontractors to build our local economy.

Wendy Schutt brings years of business operations and administration experience to the management team. She has held key positions in civil engineering, land development, construction and design/ build firms. Her current responsibilities include contract administration, acquisition of permits, utilities coordination, purchasing, project cost accounting, project billing, project close-out, and warranty.
Wendy contributes essential organizational and communication skills to the Sierra Foothills Construction team.

Marc Nelson, Projects Manager, has over 40 years of construction experience. We were happy to have him join our team at Sierra Foothills Construction in 2019. Marc specializes in project planning and execution along with subcontractor and client relations. His 41 years of experience cover high-end and production residential, retail, high rise, and medical commercial as well as public works projects throughout six different states. Marc’s attention to detail, product knowledge, and communication help us to achieve projects with seamless transitions from start to finish.
